This poem is written about the Three Hares found in many places in Chagford, I have painted the hares to look as if one is made of wood, one of tin & one out of Dartmoor granite. The original painting is framed and £2,100 to include UK postage.

          THE THREE HARES

           Once Tinners Rabbits

          Now Hares of Granite

        Their meaning a mystery

            Obscured in history

          Some carved in wood

           Some made of clay

            Some easy to find

           Some hidden away

    The Three Hares of Chagford

        Are there to be found

         Ears joined together

          Round and around
