I love this time of year when the first spring flowers suddenly appear. Here I have painted in a detailed watercolour of some of the first flowere that we see. Snowdrops, Violets and Celandines, and if you look closely you will also notice a ladybird which has come out of its winter hibernation and an early bumble bee. I have just framed this painting in a silvery white frame that goes well with it and picks out the colours of the snowdrops. It is now hanging in my gallery in Chagford or you can see it in the "Flower Paintings" section of this website.
