In this oil painting I was inspired by the shape and meaning of the Triquetra which is a triangle like that of the ears of the Three Hares symbol. I have painted this in oil leaving it unvarnished so that the triquetra which I have painted in gold catches the light and really shines out. I have written a poem which goes round the golden circle and this reads:-

    The power of three

        Is here to see

       No beginning

      No end, Eternity

     An ancient symbol

Of everlasting protection

  Life, death and rebirth

        Continuation

In the night sky you will see several constellations. Top left is Leo, top right is Taurus, bottom left Cassiopeia and bottom right The Plough.
